Demystifying Impact
My career arc has spanned Fortune 500 companies to founding multiple venture-backed businesses to impact tech to impact non-tech. On that journey I find myself increasingly applying impact-oriented principles and lenses to businesses. At the same time that the “impact” concept is deepening into the consciousness of entrepreneurs, investors, consumers and the media, I find it to be less clearly understood. What does “impact” really mean? How does impact relate to ESGs, SDGs and many other related concepts? Is impact only for tech businesses or also for non-tech businesses? Is impact relevant for both non-profit and for-profit businesses? How does one measure and track impact? This site is my attempt to demystify the impact world. While most of the concepts presented have global relevance, because I am based in Israel, some entities have a specific Israel- or Jewish-orientation. I hope this helps others make their journeys more impactful.
